Like a leaf blower in the dead Autumn,
when the brown and dead leaves fall,
you bring it out to blow them off.
Like a snow plow in mid-December,
as the snow gets to thick, he comes out
and pushes and shovels it away.
Like the snipping scissors in the green Spring,
when dandelions fill your yard,
you bring them out to snip, snip, snip them away.
Like a bug light in the heat of the Summer,
as mosquitoes begin to bite your legs and arms,
you hang it up and they zap away.
Throughout the year, we use these tools
to rid ourselves of pesky problems,
but never do anything to rid yourself of friends.
